بَلۡ ظَنَنتُمۡ أَن لَّن يَنقَلِبَ ٱلرَّسُولُ وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ إِلَىٰٓ أَهۡلِيهِمۡ أَبَدٗا وَزُيِّنَ ذَٰلِكَ فِي قُلُوبِكُمۡ وَظَنَنتُمۡ ظَنَّ ٱلسَّوۡءِ وَكُنتُمۡ قَوۡمَۢا بُورٗا

48:eighteen ۞ لَقَدْ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ إِذْ يُبَايِعُونَكَ تَحْتَ الشَّجَرَةِ فَعَلِمَ مَا فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ فَأَنْزَلَ السَّكِينَةَ عَلَيْهِمْ وَأَثَابَهُمْ فَتْحًا قَرِيبًا Certainly was Allah delighted Using the believers after they pledged allegiance to you, [O Muhammad], underneath the tree, and He knew what was in their hearts, so He sent down tranquillity on them and rewarded them with the imminent conquest

Had the unbelievers fought against you at that time, they would have turned their backs (in flight), and would have discovered none to safeguard or support them.

That is their similitude from the Taurat; and their similitude in the Gospel is: similar to a seed which sends forth its blade, then can make it strong; it then gets to be thick, and it stands on its own stem, (filling) the sowers with question and delight. Because of this, it fills the Unbelievers with rage at them. Allah has promised those amid them who imagine and do righteous deeds forgiveness, and an incredible Reward.
